Above that was the Pence news. My quote about nursing homes was swiped from twitter. Maybe Cuomo made a similar observation.

Actually it wasn’t Y2K now that I think about it but decimalization. Right around the same time. Remember when stocks quoted in fractions?

Hopefully all landlords including commercial landlords are being relaxed with rent payments. It’s a big ripple effect...

Prisons, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Cruise Ships, and now (apparently) Apartment Buildings. The lesson here seems to be don't be locked up in a confined space with sick people.

I'm not a big fan of certainty when it comes to complicated stuff, and that first guy sounds awfully certain.

I heard about this last year when I was working for the Cologuard folks. My thought on them was 'yeah, you have the easier test now, but it is not as accurate as a 'scope and there are others out there working on better testing'. In other words, Cologuard will be a thing of the past in ten years and you had better find something else quick. I know they are working on a liver test as the next offering, but it is a blood test too, so not sure how innovative it really is. They bought Genomic Sciences while I was there so they now own Oncytype DX testing.

Makes sense to me. Numbers generally do not lie and both Mass Gen and Deaconess are first rate. I have worked for Mass Gen. Great place.

@jon-nyc said in SCOTUS tosses "Bridgegate" convictions: It is a real shame that the law is so specific that it be monetary gains. At the very least we can take solace in the fact that at least Kelly was crushed financially. Not sure about the resources of the other two but insofar as they have any they’ll lose them in civil actions, I would expect. So some sort of justice will be done. Trust me when I say I am all for rewriting the law. Somehow I doubt it will ever pass and you likely won’t like who is against it,
